Term 4 Connected Learning

This term, we are looking outwards to the world around us and the wonders of nature. Through Geography, we will be learning about the different climate zones around the world. Through our English reading and writing texts we will be focussing in on rainforests and the amazing lives of whales! We will be learning about the importance of the rainforests for our wellbeing and not just for the people who live nearby.

In Science, we will be learning about forces, and how even though they are invisible, they have noticeable effects on the movement of objects. This knowledge will be applied to our D&T project, which this term is to build bridges. We will be learning about how materials work and also how to adapt those materials to strengthen them.

In RE we are continuing to focus on Sikhism. To understand the similarities and differences we all have in beliefs, ceremonies and cultures.

For the second part of the term, we will completing Missions that give us the opportunities to apply our newly learned skills to practical problems and to delve further into knowledge we have been gaining in different areas.
